Confusions Galore
Many people confuse them with a shorter version of the English Bull dog. The French Bulldog is here to stay. Don’t go by appearance. They have a friendlier temperament. And, they can also serve you as guard dogs. Just train them that way. Brindle is the most common color. It is a dark color with a mix and a patch of fawn hairs. The remaining coat is black. However, you should not be surprised to find 10-20 different color coats. Breeders are capable of anything.
The Frenchie Dog also sheds some of its fur from time to time. If you are thinking of buying one, you should keep a note. They have shirt hair, and many people think they don’t shed. However, that is a wrong notion. They lose a part of their undercoat two times a year. That is way less than other dogs. So, you can do it some justice, with a mitt comb and a stripping comb.
